Antique Victorian STAINED Glass Medallion Window CIRCA 1900

This beautiful old window Has outlived its original frame and been placed in a substantial pine frame for display purposes. It was removed from a house in Pendle Lancashire during refurbishment . The Borough of Pendle can be found in the east of Lancashire, on the border of Yorkshire, and in the North West of England. From the windswept summit of Boulsworth Hill looking out to Pendle Hill (557 m, 1,838 ft. (2000 ft would make it a mountain.), a landscape of hidden villages and open country unfolds. History, legend and story telling has cast its own enchantment over Pendle. Its name is drawn from mysterious Pendle Hill, a beacon hill which warned of the Spanish Armada and became infamous as the home of the Pendle Witches of 1612.
